Terms of Service
Last Updated: February 9, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SessionWeaver (“the Service”), operated by SessionWeaver LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully before using SessionWeaver. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
1. Service Description
SessionWeaver is a web-based application that uses artificial intelligence to assist Game Masters (“GMs”) in preparing session plans for tabletop role-playing games (“TTRPGs”). The Service generates narrative and mechanical content including, but not limited to, session outlines, non-player character profiles, stat blocks, location descriptions, and encounter frameworks.
SessionWeaver is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro, or any other tabletop role-playing game publisher.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We reserve the right to request verification of age at any time and to terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.
3. Accounts
3.1 Registration
You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3.2 Account Security
You agree to notify us immediately at support@sessionweaver.io if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
4.1 Subscription Tiers
The Service is offered in multiple tiers, including a free tier with limited usage and paid tiers with additional features and higher usage limits. Current tier details, features, and pricing are displayed on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.
4.2 Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing to a paid tier, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
4.3 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice. Your continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
4.4 Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until that date. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@sessionweaver.io within 30 days.
4.5 Free Tier
The free tier is provided at our discretion. We reserve the right to modify free tier usage limits, features, or availability at any time without notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use or circumvents usage limits.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without our prior written consent.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users’ accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service.
- Use the Service to develop a competing product or service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms.
6. AI-Generated Content
6.1 Nature of Generated Content
The Service uses third-party artificial intelligence models to generate content. While we employ validation systems to improve the accuracy of game-mechanical content (such as stat blocks and encounter balance), all AI-generated content is provided “as-is” and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inconsistencies. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before use.
6.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy
We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, balanced, suitable for any particular purpose, or free from errors. Generated content is intended as a starting point for your creative process, not as a final product.
6.3 Content Variability
AI-generated output may vary between generations, even with identical inputs. We do not guarantee consistent or reproducible results.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you input into the Service, including campaign descriptions, session recaps, character descriptions, and other creative material (“Your Content”). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
7.2 Generated Content
Content generated by the Service based on your inputs (“Generated Content”) is yours to use, modify, and distribute as you see fit, subject to any applicable third-party rights and the limitations described in these Terms. We claim no ownership over Generated Content.
7.3 Game System Content
The Service generates mechanical content compatible with various tabletop role-playing game systems. Such content is based on rules and materials published under open licenses, including:
- Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition: Mechanical content is derived from the Systems Reference Document 5.1 (SRD 5.1), published by Wizards of the Coast under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). “Dungeons & Dragons,” “D&D,” and related terms are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast.
Additional game system attributions will be listed here as support for additional systems is added.
We do not reproduce proprietary content from published sourcebooks. Generated content draws from openly licensed rules material and original AI-generated creative material.
7.4 Service IP
The Service itself — including its design, code, user interface, algorithms, validation systems, and documentation — is our proprietary intellectual property and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described herein.
8. Data and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party services for core functionality, including but not limited to:
- AI model providers for content generation
- Stripe for payment processing
- Cloud infrastructure providers for hosting and data storage
We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of third-party services. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy.
10. Service Availability
We strive to maintain the Service’s availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice of planned downtime.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SESSIONWEAVER LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE;
- (B) ANY ERRORS, INACCURACIES, OR OMISSIONS IN AI-GENERATED CONTENT;
- (C) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SERVERS OR YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION;
- (D) ANY INTERRUPTION OR CESSATION OF TRANSMISSION TO OR FROM THE SERVICE;
- (E) ANY THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT OR CONTENT ON OR THROUGH THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BE AVAILABLE ON AN UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE BASIS, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SessionWeaver LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription (if applicable) and contacting us at support@sessionweaver.io to request account deletion.
14.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
14.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, we will make your campaign data available for export for a period of 30 days, after which it may be permanently deleted. Sections 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, and 15 survive termination.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Windsor, CO. Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
15.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
15.4 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SessionWeaver LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
15.5 Modifications
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms on the Service. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
15.6 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
